FALL RIVER, Mass. — Carl E. Tremblay, 62, of Fall River passed away March 2 at Fall River Healthcare. 

Born at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, he was a son of the late Roger J. and Pauline (Ouellette) Tremblay and had been a lifelong resident of this city. 

A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, Tremblay had worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed music and he also was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins. He was a great admirer of Carl Yastrzemski and Bobby Orr. 

Survivors include his son, Dominic Tremblay of Warren, R.I.; his brothers: Father Marc P. Tremblay, pastor of Holy Trinity Parish in West Harwich, John G. Tremblay of Fall River, Michael J. Tremblay and his wife Beverly of Fall River, and Sgt. Paul R. Tremblay and his wife Theresa of Warwick, R.I.; his sisters: Celeste J. Duclos of Warwick R.I. and her partner Berri and Suzanne M. Franco and her husband Fran of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; two grandchildren, six nephews and five grand nieces and nephews. 

His burial was at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River. Due to state sanctions, services will be postponed and re-announced at a later date.
